OPEN KATA-KUMITE COURSE

The annual Open Kata-Kumite course for 2010 will once take place in the Shannon Oaks Hotel and Country Club, Portumna, County Galway on Friday 17th – 19th September 2010.
The course was a great success in 2009 and we look forward to a most enjoyable few days of training this year. This is an opportunity to enjoy karate instruction at the highest level as presented by National coaches.

We are pleased to announce that Sensei Dave Hazard (7th Dan) will be visiting Ireland in March and invite you to attend the course. This is an opportunity that should not be missed and we hope that you and your students will join us for the two days.

The 4th ASK Open Competition was held in the Clare Inn, Dromoland, Co. Clare on the 6th February 2010. I believe that a most enjoyable day was had by participants and spectators and would like to comment the participants for the high standard displayed.
I also would like to thank everyone who assisted in making this possible and to the judges, referees and coaches, I would like to extend a special thank you.

Attached are the forms and details for the 4th ASK Open Competition. The competition will be held in the Clare Inn, Dromoland, Co. Clare on the 6th February 2010. Pre-Registration is required by the 27th January 2010. All are welcome to apply, but please send in your registration as soon as possible. As in past years, we expect a most enjoyable day and a high standard. WKF rules will apply.
